Specialised and refresher courses in civil mediation are compulsory for all people who want to keep their professional qualification updated. They must attend these courses within the following two years of the award of the official qualificatiON.

• ICOTEA is a ministerial learning institute accredited by the MIUR. Moreover, it is a training body for mediators/conciliators accredited under the n. 123. Our certificates have legal value in Italy and abroad.
• The certificate obtained at the end of this course, legally recognised by the Ministry of Justice (in accordance with the Ministerial Decree n. 180/10 following modifications and/or integrations), confers the right to exercise this profession.
• The final certificate will be issued within 24 hours of passing your exam. It will contain the following wording: “Biennial refresher course for Mediator/Conciliator 18 hours”.

The qualification issued by this course confers the right to exercise the profession of Commercial and Civil mediator/conciliator, and help you to access accredited conciliation bodies and the Italian civil justice system. Competences acquired allow to exercise successfully this profession in all three types of identified mediation: optional civil mediation, assigned civil mediation and compulsory civil mediation.

• Blended learning and full immersion.
• The teacher could need a meeting through videoconferencing/Skype during the exams, exercises and the discussion of the final dissertation.

Professionals, employees or graduated who have the qualification of certified civil mediator, in accordance with M.D 180/2010 following modifications and/or integrations.

• The Resolution of the European Parliament dated 13 September 2011 regarding the implementation of mediation in the Member States;
