Single courses: the new ICOTEA offer

Single courses are an opportunity made available to those who, for cultural and professional updating, intend to follow university courses, but without enrolling in a degree.

Courses for anyone who needs, for professional reasons or to broaden their cultural background, to deepen their knowledge in certain areas of study.

Enrollment allows you to attend individual course classes and take the related exams, receiving a certificate recognizing your participation and knowledge acquired during the course.

The people admitted to taking single courses are, not only holders of a Bachelor and Master’s degree who need to attend courses and pass exams of disciplines not included in the curriculum for the achievement of the respective title, but which, according to the provisions in force, are required to admission to public competitions or for access to schools of specialization, but also those who do not have a degree and who want to acquire the single course for knowledge or because, in the absence of university enrolment, they want to shorten a future course of study by acquiring the subject.

To purchase a single course, it is necessary to have a high school diploma, a Bachelor or Master’s degree or to be enrolled in a course of study at any university. Therefore, the minimum entry qualification is a high school diploma.

The single courses coincide with the courses activated within the Bachelor’s degree in Science of Language Mediation. The course, whose grade will be marked out of 30, can be used to fill specific training debts necessary for the acquisition of curricular requirements for enrolment in a Master’s degree with free access in specialized schools, for professional or competition purposes, for which a cultural and scientific update or a particular refinement of acquired skills is required.
