On September 23, 2013, ICOTEA was authorized by the MIUR to establish a Higher School for Linguistic Mediators, Institutes equivalent to Universities therefore authorized to award academic degrees for all university purposes.

Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistic Mediation Sciences L-12:

On 09/23/2013 ICOTEA was authorized by MIUR to establish the Bachelor of Science in Language Mediation L-12 (Decree).

Master’s Degree in Specialist Translation and Interpreting LM-94:

On 12/04/2022, the MUR by Decree No. 638 authorized HSLM ICOTEA to also activate the Master’s Degree Course in Specialist Translation and Interpreting LM-94 (DECREE).

Therefore, those with a Bachelor’s Degree in Language Mediation Sciences (L-12) or equivalent can enroll in the two-year Master’s Degree Course in Specialist Translation and Interpreting LM-94.
